The DOPS team participated in the 33rd European Conference on Operational Research (EURO24)

Last week, our members Bruno Domenech, Laia Ferrer Martí, Pol Gil Figuerola, and Marc Juanpera participated in the 33rd European Conference on Operational Research (EURO24) at the DTU -Technical University of Denmark. We presented our latest advances in optimizing the design and operation of energy communities with peer-to-peer energy trading, as well as the definition of affordable, nutritious, and balanced food baskets and diets for vulnerable populations.

We also had the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest experts worldwide in Operations Research and their recent innovations in theoretical formulation and application to relevant sectors for DOPS: energy and food access, humanitarian logistics, and healthcare.
