The DOPS team participated in the XXVIII Congress of Organizational Engineering (CIO2024)

Last week, the DOPS team participated in the XXVIII Congress of Organizational Engineering (CIO2024). The large representation included faculty and PhD students, who presented their most recent studies applied to the design of energy communities, optimization of staffing and working time in uncertain environments, definition of food baskets and diets, supply chain optimization and location of pick-up points to reduce the environmental impact of last mile delivery.

Among all the presentations, we highlight the paper presented by Pol Gil Figuerola and Marc Juanpera, “Optimising diets: quantitative method for guiding transition towards healthy diets”, which obtained a diploma of Best Paper of the Conference.

Special thanks to the ADINGOR association and the Polytechnic University of Madrid for the organization of an excellent congress that demonstrates the health, strength and projection of organizational engineering in Spain. In particular, we would like to thank the event in memoriam of Professor Ramon Companys, who was an inspiration to all of us.
