Jordi Olivella Nadal
Jordi Olivella Nadal holds a degree in Economics and Insurance Actuary from the University of Barcelona (UB), and a PhD in Business Administration and Management from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). After working in the private sector, especially in the insurance sector, he joined the UPC as a lecturer. His activity has encompassed various positions at the university including research activity, consultancy work for the sector and a variety of teaching responsibilities. He was a visiting professor at the Know Center, Graz, Austria; Penn State University, Pennsylvania, USA; and at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

Project management.His teaching focuses on international students and international contexts.
It has students from more than 25 different nationalities each academic year. It applies active learning methods and uses e-learning materials to fully develop students' ability to manage their own projects.In addition, its research activity includes more than 150 contributions. He has published in international journals such as Computers & Industrial Engineering, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of the Operational Research Society, Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management and Production Planning & Control, among others, as well as several books and book chapters.
