Carles Rua Costa
Carles Rua Costa is an industrial engineer. His professional activity has been developed in the fields of logistics and information systems for management, where he has acted as an engineer in free exercise and as an employee in consulting companies. He currently works at the Port Authority of Barcelona as responsible for strategic projects and innovation. In the university field he has carried out teaching activity in the Department of Management of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) and research activity in the Institute of Industrial and Control Engineering. He is also director of the Executive Master in Integral Logistics and Supply Chain Management and professor of the European School of Short Sea Shipping. He is currently also responsible for the CLYMA project, a project with a European grant from the TEN-T program (Trans-European Networks for Transport) led by the Port of Barcelona and in which a total of eight companies from Spain and France participate.
