Amaia Lusa Garcia
Amaia Lusa Garcia is a senior professor at the Department of Management of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). She is an Industrial Engineer and holds a PhD from the UPC. She teaches at the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB), in courses related to quantitative methods, industrial engineering and supply chain. Her research activity, at the Institute of Industrial and Control Engineering of the UPC, focuses, on the one hand, on the development and application of quantitative techniques for solving problems of design, planning and scheduling of production and logistic systems and, on the other hand, in the design of methodologies and tools for gender equality. She has participated in several research projects and is the author or co-author of books and papers published in international journals. She is a member of the research groups of the UPC DOPS and SOC-STEM (research group on gender equality at STEM).
