Sara Hatami and Antonin Ponsich participate in the Lleida Artificial Intelligence & Optimization workshop (LAIO 2023)

Last week, the DOPS team members Sara Hatami and Antonin Ponsich participated in the Lleida Artificial Intelligence & Optimization workshop (LAIO 2023). This workshop was jointly organized by the University of Lleida and the Polytechnic University of Valencia, with the collaboration of the Lleida City Council.

The event focused on a wide range of interesting topics, including the importance of effective collaboration in research and development projects, best practices in the application of artificial intelligence and optimization in various industries such as the Pig Sector, Paper Industry, Logistics, Agriculture, Cybersecurity, Water Management, Energy, and Tourism Technology.

During the workshop, Antonin Ponsich delivered a presentation titled "Energy Planning with Renewables." In his presentation, he shared his valuable insights and experience regarding the integration of renewable energy sources into energy planning, highlighting the significance of sustainable energy solutions.

This participation in the LAIO 2023 workshop allowed them to engage with a diverse array of topics and share their expertise in the field, contributing to the ongoing discussions and advancements in the realms of AI and optimization.
