Electricity distribution with renewable energies

Description

To reverse the effects of climate change, there is consensus on the need for a transition towards clean, renewable and decentralised energy generation. In this context, energy communities are emerging, made up of several points of generation (wind, solar) and/or consumption (prosumers) interconnected with each other, through the national electricity grid or a microgrid. This line of research aims to develop multi-criteria mathematical tools to optimise the design of the electricity distribution chain in energy communities. The models to be developed will take into account techno-economic considerations, to obtain robust and economical systems, and socio-environmental considerations, to meet the needs of people and the environment.
