Imma RIbas Vila

Imma Ribas Vila is a tenured professor of the Department of Management of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). She holds a PhD from the Polytechnic University of Valenvia (UPV) and is an Industrial Engineer from the UPC. She teaches at the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB), in subjects of design and improvement of production methods, Lean Manufacturing and design of the Supply Chain. Her research activity, in the Department of Business Management of the UPC, focuses, on the one hand, on the development and application of quantitative techniques for the resolution of problems of design, planning and programming of production and logistics systems and, on the other hand, in the study of new business models for mobility and logistics last mile. She has participated in numerous research projects and is the author and co-author of books and articles published in international reference magazines.
