Environmental sustainability in transport and distribution

Description

This line of research consists in studying logistical problems taking into account the impact of the activity on the environment. For this, various works have been carried out in the field of reverse logistics (study of productive capacities in systems with manufacturing), models for the minimization of CO2 emissions in the transport of goods have been developed, and work has been carried out with the description, classification and valuation of solutions for the urban distribution of merchandise. Finally, in the framework of this research line, we have participated in the project “Development of the Lyon-Madrid axis on the TEN-T Mediterranean Corridor. (CLYMA)” cofinanced by the European Union.
