Organization of operations and production

Description
Some habitual and periodic decisions in the productive systems are for example the planning considering a sufficiently wide horizon or the programming of the production (i.e. deciding which resource is going to realize each operation and which is the concrete period of realization). This line of research is concerned with providing the necessary quantitative tools (algorithms, procedures,...) in order to find optimal results, if possible, to problems that arise from these decisions. Specifically, the lines of action that are contemplated are the following:
1. Short-term programming of the production of a productive system, of goods or services, according to its configuration and the criteria or criteria when choosing one or the other solution.
2. Simulation of the behavior of a supply chain and / or optimization, analyzing its flows.
